I’m building an early meeting recorder and keep asking myself whether this category is already too crowded.
Granola is clearly the product everyone compares against now. My current hypothesis is not to compete feature-for-feature, but to find a narrow segment that wants something simpler, more transparent, and focused on follow-ups rather than a full AI assistant.
If you use meeting recorders: what annoys you, what would make you switch, and would you trust a solo-built tool?
